Daima U5 is a Mechanical Beast that served as the monster-of-the-week in episode 26 of the Mazinger Z anime.
Appearance[]
Daima U5 is a humanoid Mechanical Beast that is predominantly colored red features a pair of bull-like horns on its head and a large whip for a right hand.
Abilities and Equipment[]
Daima is able to fly a short distance having a hover pack attached to it. It has impressive armor, able to resist most blunt attacks. The whip for its left hand can be used to attack and restrain enemies and electrocute them. The right hand can become a drill for close range battle. The mouth and torso can release missiles to attack enemies from a distance or at close range. The horns on its head can be used as pincer claw to hold enemies in place.
History[]
Baron Ashura controls this beast built by Dr. Hell to fight Mazinger Z. It assaults the Photon Labatory to be confronted by a blinded Koji & Sayaka. Sayaka & Koji's attacker try to help him control the Mazinger Z to fight Daima U5. After a struggling battle Koji manage to pin Daima to a cliff & finish off with Breast Fire. Baron Ashura escape in the emergency pod at the top of the head before the beast expode.
