Giruguru (円盤獣・ギルギル) was the first Saucer Beast that appeared in episode 1 of the Grendizer anime.
Appearance[]
Girugiru was purple-colored with little green fins. In the Robot Mode he had black legs and tail and a green reptilian head with red compound eyes.
Abilities and Weapons[]
Girugiru is capable of flight. For Weapons he has extendable spears from the underside, red eye lasers and green fire from the mouth. Girugiru also had a buzzsaw.
History[]
Girugiru was deployed to trap the TFO but Grendizer saved it along Koji and Grendizer and Girugiru fought until Giruguru ended up split in half, he launched his head for a last resort attack but instead got destroyed along the rest of the body. It was later revealed that Girugiru held the brain of Sirius after it was integrated into it, causing Sirius' death when it was destroyed.

- A Saucer Beast of similar model of Girugiru can be seen in the opening credits with a purple colour scheme.
