Ghostfire V9 is a Mechanical Beast that appeared in the original manga in a plot by Baron Ashura to capture Mazinger Z. In Mazinger Z VS. Devilman a mechanical Beast named Ghostarm V10 shares a similar design and fate. In the original anime it appears as a Kikaiju called Glenghost C3.
Appearance[]
Ghostfire V9 resembles a centurion warrior, the head featuring a fin that hangs backwards, wrecking balls for hands, and a battle skirt.
Abilities and Equipment[]
Ghostfire V9 uses the chained wrecking balls on its arms to attack enemies and restrain them. It also releases flames from the top of its head to incinerate its surroundings.
History[]
Ghostfire V9 attacked Tokyo crushing and burning everything in its path, but as Koji Kabuto was busy with the Gamia Q the Aphrodite A was sent before it was subdued with its pilot captured by KingDan X10. As the stolen but recovered Mazinger fought against a couple of Mechanical Beasts underwater, the Ghostfire and Toros D7 attacked the robot. Despite having an upperhand, the Mazinger used the Ghostfire's chains to attack both Mechanical Beasts and destroy them both after flinging them a distance.
