Apollo A1, pronounced Apollo Alpha 1, is a Mechanical Beast that was featured as the monster-of-the-week for episode 72 of the Mazinger Z anime.

Appearance

Apollo A1 is a large humanoid Mechanical Beast with flames spewing out of its shoulders and neck.

Abilities and Equipment

Apollo mainly uses the flames that erupt of its shoulders and neck that allow it to melt anything it touches. It possesses several other fire and heat-based abilities such as heat waves, flames and fireballs spat out of its mouth, a heat barrier, and even become a moving fireball. Surprising it can swim underwater and has powerful resistance, able to resist cold climates and the Rust Hurricane and absorb energy attacks through its mouth.
