Deltan V8 is a Mechanical Beast that served as the monster-of-the-week in episode 42 of the Mazinger Z anime.

Appearance

Deltan V8 is a quadruped reptile-like Mechanical Beast with diamond shaped eyes, a large green blade on its head, a drill attached to its nose, and a long tail. The body is mainly colored orange and white while the top is colored brown.

Abilities

Deltan V8 is an amphibious Mechanical Beast able to swim underwater and be undetected by radar with a resistance to projectiles. The drill on its nose can be shot like a missile, the blade on the top of its head can be used in close combat, has a tongue that can constrict an enemy, and its tail can be detached to be used as an electrically charged whip and can even regenerate if it is destroyed. When offense does not work, it can also release a blinding gas from its head.
