Lightwave Beast Pikadron (光波獣ピクドロン) is the third final monster in Great Mazinger vs. Getter Robo G: Kuchu Daigekitotsu. He also appeared in a few adaptations and material such as Mazinkaiser vs. Shin Getter Robo.

Appearance[]

Pikadron is a large yellow monster with long antenna, extended fingers and toes, a green chest pattern, red eyes with a black outline. Beneath this, he possesses a more mechanical body featuring a v-shaped chest plate and red pincer claws.

Abilities and Equipment[]

Electricity Manipulation[]

As a being composed of electromagnetic waves, it is able to control electricity. It can release balls and beams of electricity from its mouth. It can emit electricity from it body. In its super form it can release seven beams of electricity from its chest and horns that are of higher voltage than its previous forms attacks.

Lightwave Physiology[]

Its body is impervious to damage except when it solidifies when attacking. It is also capable of absorbing energy to assume a stronger form.

Other Abilities[]

Pikadron can extend its fingers to attack and restrain enemies.

History[]

Great Mazinger vs. Getter Robo G[]

Pikadron appears after the destruction of Bong, as the mechanical monster was just bait to lure out Great Mazinger. The Great could not damage Pikadron due to its light wave body and even with help from the Getter Robo G did not change much because of its ability to absorb energy and growing stronger. Tetsuya noticed that Pikadron could be damaged when solidified and pairing up for a final attack, they managed to destroy Pikadron.

Mazinkaiser vs. Shin Getter Robo[]

Invaders had sent multiple Pikadrons all over Tokyo to destroy it. The Photon Power Team have tried to fight them but to no avail. Tetsuya was seriously wounded in the attack so Koji charged at the Pikadrons to give the team a chance to escape. One of the Pikadrons grab Koji and threw his Mazinger Z into the ocean. It also been revealed by the Getter Team that they also killed Musashi. When the Invaders sent Gilgilgan it started to eat up the mass-produced Pikadrons to empower it.
