Sayaka Yumi is the daughter of the president of the human settlement on Mars and Koji Kabuto's main ally. She pilots a crystaline version of the Aphrodite A.
Background
As shown in the visions Z shows Koji, Sayaka in her past life was the lover Koji but was raped which caused Koji to lose control of Z and go on a rampage. Sayaka during that time had committed suicide both because she was raped and out of her fear of the berserk Z.
She is reincarnated into her present form years later. When the surviving humans immigrated to Mars after Z's rampage, Sayaka's father Gennosuke Yumi became their leader. Koji suspects that someone else is using Sayaka for an unknown reason due to the bondage-like costume she wears to pilot Aphrodite A.
Personality
Compared to her original series counterpart, Sayaka is much more calm and compassionate. As she is the daughter of the leader of the settlement, she takes her role very seriously. Sayaka is also more willing to engage in affectionate actions with Koji such as kissing and even sleeping with him. She worries about Koji's safety and wishes him the best of luck out on the field.
Abilities
Sayaka appears to be a decent pilot able to pilot the Aphrodite without much effort, but is not good in battle as much as Koji is. She appears to possess some sort of telepathic ability that Koji followed that brought him to Mars.
History
Sayaka is the first person Koji encounters on the Mars settlement after waking up seeing an angelic being and a voice that turned out to be Sayaka. She shows Koji the settlements and asks for his help in dealing with the problems within it. For most of the series, Sayaka mainly provides assistance to Koji through the Aphrodite A while also showing how much she cares about him.
